In February 2014, a meeting was conducted in Maichew woreda, Tigray region, as part of establishing innovation platforms in the Africa RISING project sites in Ethiopia. Similar to the meetings in the other sites this meeting also aimed at introducing and updating agricultural researchers, development and other stakeholders working with Africa RISING project about the program’s and Project’s activities, and initiate the establishment of Innovation Platforms (IPs).
This photo report presents the process taken to establish the strategic innovation platform at the woreda level and the operational innovation platforms at the kebele level.
