Africa RISING West Africa project partners recently took part in the first review and planning meeting since the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) approved a second five-year phase of the project. The event, held 1-2 February 2017, in Accra, Ghana, was attended by nearly 60 partners drawn from research and development organizations working in the project and it gave them opportunity to:
- Review Africa RISING phase I outputs, achievements and lessons learnt (summarized on posters presented by different partners at the meeting)
- Discuss the Africa RISING West Africa phase II proposal and implementation guidelines, and review a pre-developed project log frame.
- Draft 2017 work plans.
