At the tail end of 2014, Africa RISING scientists and government extension agents held a series of feedback meetings with farmers in Tanzania’s Babati District. The objective of the meetings which were held from 14-18 December was to create a forum for these three important groups of stakeholders to jointly reflect on the performance of research themes during the 2013/14 cropping seasons and also plan for the 2015/16 seasons. The meetings were held in six villages within the district namely; Matufa, Halu, Shaurimoyo, Seloto, Sabilo and Long.
This photo trip report provides a visual overview of the issues encountered and activities undertaken by the project team during the feedback meetings in those areas.
