I read this report with interest. But I did not see a striking results which help unlock intensification of pig production. We already know improved housing, better nutrition, good animal healthcare, training farmers on better pig management practices, etc. are needed to enhance the productivity and profitability of farm animals. What we do not know is underlying factors which hinder farmers from implementing such improved management practices. Does the author have insights on underlying factors which hinder application of the practices he advocates?
