Lemo is one of the eight Africa RISING project woredas (districts) in the Ethiopian Highlands. Various activities are taking place in that woreda, including agroforestry work to integrate trees to crop-livestock farming.
More recently sheep fattening and irrigated fodder have been the focus of Africa RISING research teams. This photo trip report presents images from a recent field visit (23-25 July 2014) to assess progress with these livestock and irrigation activities conducted together with the Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Small-Scale Irrigation (ILSSI).
